You must make an effort in conducting an extensive research on this condition. ADHD in the classroom is something that is needed to be taken seriously. You should be in constant communication with the parents. With their insight, you shall have better strategies to calm down their children even when they are not around. Meet with them outside of school hours and be open when their little ones went overboard on a particular day.

You must conduct individual sessions when you see the need for them. This condition is something which they can bring for the rest of their lives. However, what you need to focus on is molding them into better student so that they will be able to act normally once they graduate from your department.

Agree on a sign that you will give when you simply had enough of one student. You can be as understanding as you want to be but some limits have to be set for you to prevent any rumble from occurring in here. Always calm down the little ones not by shouting at them but by simply making them realized that they went aboard.

It may be small but the fact that they got it compared to their classmates is enough to make them feel good inside. That will make them see you as their friend from this point onwards.

Aside from treats, you need to be generous with your kind words as well. Point out those good deeds which have been made by some of your students. Let them be involved in a healthy competition somehow.

Simple and concrete directions are very much needed. Speak in a pace that the little ones will understand as well. When you become a master in that aspect, that is when you shall form an authentic connection with your students and they shall eventually listen to all your requests.
