One common thing that is brought about by long commutes for many people is the insufficient amount of sleep or bed rest. You will be deprived of sleep as you will be spending the majority of your time at work, the remaining few hours for your family and a few more hours for the commute.

Having to undergo long commutes from work to your home is inevitable especially if you cannot afford a fast car that can take you anywhere you want to go in just a matter of minutes. One thing that people commonly do in order to buy time when riding a bus home or to work is to read a journal or a book. Not only does this hobby enhances your knowledge on this but also keeps your mind distracted. When you read a book, you'll be surprised you're already at your destination as you finish a few pages.

Another good way for you to buy time whenever taking long commutes is to do the common thing that kids do - play games over their phone or gadget. While many may not be very fund of games over devices, it can be very much helpful in keeping your thoughts distracted and thus keeping you less stressed. Playing the most played games today and compete with your friends is as fun as ever.

Looking to make money even while riding a bus home or to your work? If your English is good then you can opt for article or blog writing. When you are sitting and not doing much, your mind tend to become more active. Writing articles would then be beneficial for your as an outlet of your thoughts. There are actually no limits to what you can write about and make money from it. I know this would require skill as well as enough confidence however it is actually easier than it would sound. The challenging part would only be to have a small confidence to ignite that conversation. You just have to think of a topic or subject that would allow the both of you to agree and discuss further.
