Vivid View Of Christian Psychic Reading

By Annabelle Holman

Psychic reading basically refers to the attempts made to try and acquire some information by exercising amplified perceptive abilities, or natural extensions in the human senses of sound, touch, instinct, sight and taste. They consist of clairsentience (feeling), clairaudience (hearing), clairvoyance (vision) and claircognisance (factual knowing) and all the statements that are made during the attempt to exercise these abilities. Does Christian psychic reading exist? Does the bible concur with these abilities?

Astrology is the most widely known form of these kinds of reading. It is a type of foretelling based on the alignment of the sun, the fixed stars and the moon. It has been existent for thousands of years even before the scientific methods used in astral observation came into existence. Aura is the practice of interpreting and observing the field of incandescent and subtle radiation that surrounds an individual or an item. Other practices include lithomancy, numerology, rune reading, tarot reading and pschometry

The church has always stood firmly against any of these practices. This is because it has perceived it as of negative consequences and unclean for the human soul. Christians who support and practice astrology and the other forms of soothsaying have believed these abilities to be a gift from God hence this power is very pure.

Gnoist readers are believed to possess dark forces by some portion of Christian psychics. Another part of saved soothsayers believe that all of these individuals are all talented and they have a gift that comes from one source, the creator of heaven and earth. With all of these in mind the bible has always condemned to the highest bid any extra ordinary abilities used to obtain information about the future or past.

The book of Leviticus warns Gods children against turning to medium and necromancers since they will render them unclean. It also warns mediums and necromancers from exercising, since they will be stoned to death and their blood will be against them. Another book that strongly denounces divination is Leviticus where the Lord distances himself from the false prophets saying that they speak with a lying vision and worthless divination and deceits of their own minds.

Samuel in the bible compares the sins that one commits when rebelling as similar to the sin of divination. He further compares the sins that are committed by iniquity and resumption to the one committed by on when worshiping idols. The book of Samuel further advice the people who encourage or use of divination that they are likely to be rejected by God. The book of Exodus says the individuals practicing sorcery will die.

If Christian diviners are existent among us why does the church reject them and the bible condemn them so intensely. These individuals have many at times been found as frauds who extort money or possessions from individuals and are believed to acquire enormous amounts of information about individuals by ordinary means.

But in some special instances they have been in possession of some vital information that is really difficult to obtain by physical assessment. The church and the bible concur that this are dark forces, hence they are not from God but from Satan. The bible claims Satan is deceitful and pretends to be an angel of God, hence sorcery and anything in its likeness is not acceptable by a huge majority of Christians.
