Owing to the fact that life is not a scripted journey, there are bound to be moments of confusion where one is unsure of the next move to make. While growing up, people tend to have different dreams that they have when they are older; for this, they get confused on the career path to follow since there is a variety of options availed. The education system has over the years been used to determine the career paths people follow and to some extent even forcing people in following directions they never anticipated for. This deprivation of freedom is seen by the way people are denied the chance to pursue the courses they want just because they have not reached certain marks that are required in grading students into the various courses; instead, they are forced to settle for other courses.

For this, there are a lot of people who are employed just for the sake of earning a living and are not in the careers they dreamt of or were passionate about. This, as a result makes it difficult for one to give it their all and as much as they may prove to be competent.

The education system in Canada is one that has always tried to remedy this so as to ensure people are fulfilled in the lines of work they choose to follow. Supporting young talents, having career guidance talks and having students choose the subjects they want to major in are among the moves that has seen Canada give rise to a more fulfilled society.

It is common to be not sure of what to pursue even after finishing school and scoring the best grades; some even go to the extent of taking up a course and decide to change their mind halfway, and have to make some changes in the subjects they major in or at times even quit school. It is all about knowing ones interest and following a path that will allow one to do what they love and at the same time earn a decent living.
