Giving Regular Support To Kenyan Orphans

By Marcie Goodman

There are many children already living without parents because bother parents died because of a tragic situation. Kenya, an East African country known for great economy and peace amongst its people also faces the same challenge of having so many kids living without parents. There are ways believers can approach this issue and help give support Kenyan Orphans, with an aim of giving them hope and helping them realize their future.

If you are wondering how you can give your support to these hopeless young ones, this article will help you understand how. This is a kind of a volunteering ministry, which only few take part and you should therefore be having a heart to offer support before you can get into it. Below are several ideas that can help you help families and churches that are taking care of these children to transform their lives completely.

Pray to God about these children, that He would give them an ability to survive through the hard times. Most of them always go to sleep wondering if there is a place in this world where they belong. Pray to God, who knows the plans He has for His children, to offer them a forever long and kind family, the kind of family that will accept them and care for them.

There is a lot you will need to learn about the relationship between God and the children who are fatherless. Take a moment to read the word of God to learn what God says concerning the fatherless and the plans that He has for humankind. Remember to ask God to help you know how can contribute in relating and helping children who have no fathers and mothers.

Ask your family members what they think about giving contribution to organizations that help children who have no fathers or mothers. They will most likely be for the idea and you can agree to give contributions occasionally to non-profiting organizations that take care of these children. Pray to God, however, to lead you to selecting the right organizations.

Adopting and fostering a child has many challenges. There are times when the foster family will find it difficult to understand the needs of the children they are taking care of and the children may at times not feel welcome and loved. Take time to encourage the fostering family not to give up on these children but instead take time to understand them, know their needs and show them love and affection.

Remember God has opened His heart and welcomed all children to Him and that includes those who have no parents. He might be calling you to do the same thing so pray to God to help you know what He wants with you especially if you have a strong passion for kids. Cultivate a culture in the church whereby the leaders and the congregation can take part in helping the fatherless and the motherless.

Supporting Kenyan Orphans is one way to help raise the leaders of tomorrow. At least this is a big reason to help raise these children in a good way. Always pray to God to give strength to those people helping to take care of these children.
