There is a great desire for young people to become leaders in their micro societies. This explains the upsurge in youth leadership training programs by organizations in various sectors. Conflict avoidance and management is a crucial skill youths of today will need. They are dealing with conflicts at personal and social level. It is especially important to know when to leave a conflict situation or deescalate it. Youths are also being misused in conflict zones. It is time they realized that they have greater power to choose a conflict-free situation.

Inclusion and embracing diversity requires a lot of attention in the world today. This closes out opportunities and resources that come with partnerships. Learning to build bridges and sustain relationships is therefore a crucial lesson for youths to learn.

There is evidence of lost focus or attention among the youth. They are not aware of their surrounding because they walk with headphones and their heads bent on smart phones. These distractions are reducing their potential. They need sensitization on how to focus attention on a particular target until the goal is achieved.

Emotional intelligence can be taught. In some cases, youths need to be sensitized on areas that they can use such character. The topic helps them to listen to the sixth sense and therefore make the right decision. Emotional intelligence will keep you from a lot of trouble.

Youths will have to learn perpetually but the lessons that they interact with will define their future. One lesson that should never be forgotten is how to build as well as respect systems. They create institutions and the basis for interactions or business. A facilitator or organizer has the responsibility of providing guidance on specific areas that he or she feels that his team is lacking.
