Figuring Out Your Lucid Dream Meaning

By John King

The thing that you should always try to remember about dreams is that they have a lot more to do about the dreamer than anybody else. In fact, you can't really learn anything about any other person besides yourself from your own dreams, unless you believe in things like telepathy and foresight. In strictly proven scientific terms, the lucid dream meaning is always going to refer back to the person who is doing the dreaming.

Some people have heard this term before but don't have the faintest clue what it means. In short, it is basically just dreaming while keeping all of your awareness intact. Since you are experiencing things and able to control them to a certain level, you will experience everything in much sharper detail than you are probably familiar with.

This is not something that you can learn to do "overnight." It usually takes quite a lot of time and practice before you are able to do it with ease. While this might sound discouraging, it should just be good information to help you get through those difficult first few weeks or months of trying to accomplish this very challenging feat.

Something that helps out a lot of people is keeping a notebook, journal, or merely a pen and paper near their bed. It is best if it is a designated book or journal so that you will always know where these things are going to go, because this is where you can write about what you've been dreaming. This is most helpful for people who can't seem to remember their dreams.

It is very important to learn a few check-ins in order to keep yourself grounded in reality. If you do these enough in your day to day life while you are away, you will find it much easier to recognize the fact that you are dreaming when it is actually happening. Checking a clock or your phone regularly is an easy one, or closely examining your hands.

Many people are able to face their deepest and darkest feast this way. This is great for those of us who have severe to moderate anxiety and are unable to face these challenging things in real life. Having access to an imaginary world in your head that you can visit at night with complete vivid detail and total awareness is very beneficial in this respect.

This is something that is great to try if you are just feeling stuck in a rut with your life in general. Many people find it to be a great way to start a total rehaul of your life. Once certain parts of your mind start waking up, the rest of you is soon to follow.

When you let the dreams unfold naturally, you will find more meaning in them. Some people think dreaming like this is all about taking control and flying around your dreamworld. On the contrary, so often the dreamworld will take charge and show you where you need to go, for, at its essence, the dream world is a part of you.
